Just a hint of color

I'm a sucker for a good sunrise and I get to work very early - so I guess it works out.

Just a hint of the sunrise pinkish-orange color between the fog layers, typical of South San Francisco mornings. Is there a name for these colors?

In Bloom

Walking out of my front door to go to work, I noticed my Magnolia was in bloom.

I liked that I was able to get the foreground in focus and the background not, as well as the reflections in the dew.

Asleep

I had planned on starting this up on Saturday, but life got in the way...

So, I'm starting this up today as the picture I got on Saturday was just too good to pass up.

I let the kids stay up a little late Saturday night, and I guess it got the better of him. Remember the days when you could sleep anywhere?
