Traffic Nightmares

Today's picture concerns the collapsed overpass on the east end of the bay bridge. On Sunday morning at about 3:30am, it seems as if the driver of a gasoline tanker truck was going just a little too fast through this section, hit the guard rail, overturned, and caught fire. The heat from the fire *melted* the steel girders of the overpass above, and it acted like taffy left out in the sun.
The driver suffered 2nd degree burns, but will recover. No-one else was injured.
There are calls of who should be held accountable for the highway re-construction and the inconvenience imposed upon hundreds of thousands of commuters.
(Picture was a tough one to take, driving at 60mph, aind aiming the camera at arm's length out the passenger window. Still came out decent.)
Going to start posting again every day. Over the next week, I'll be postin a bunch of pics from the past month to get back in the swing of things.
